This is the B-Meter IWM/PL3 electronic pulse emitter module for multi-jet GMDM hot and col water meters. It is supplied with any meter in the GMDM hot and cold range that has a pulse output. It can also be purchased as a spare part. Note that this unit needs to be programmed to the meter and the number of litres per pulse, we can do this for you at the time of dispatch or, you can do it yourself by downloading the App "IWM Config App". This unit has a non-replacable battery that should last up to 10-years.
If you need an old fashioned reed switch pulse output, closed contact, or zero volt contact closure (they are all the same thing) we can supply a solid state relay with power supply and quick connections to the IWM/PL3 that will provide a reed switch contact closure. This is often required by older systems or pulse counters. If you are putting the pulse into a PLC you probably dont need the reed switch pulse output. We supply the reed switch pulse output unit with either solar power or 240v AC power into a battery charger and a small battery in the enclosure.
